@Lissa: sadly both of our sets of parents aren't coming as they are not huge flyers but we debated back and forth having a traditional wedding because we were both so against it (just for them) but they insisted we do what we want and they'd be happy to help and be super involved in the AHR, which works perfectly

The only reason my parents could possibly give for not coming is the fact that they own their own business.  When I told them last weekend that we had decided to quit on all our plans and go away they were pretty upset.  FI would prefer it to be just us.  I will probably at least give them the option as to if they want to be there or not.
