So I know after the shower you are supposed to send out thank you notes. What about if your mother gives you a gift? Do you still write her a thank you like you would any other guest? I know we are getting them gifts but I just had a thought today about the shower.

I will be writing mine a thank you, but we're kind of a thank you family- so I think she will be expecting one.

I doubt I will be writing my mom a thank you note. We're not that formal, especially just between the two of us. I will just be giving her a hug and telling her thank you.

I would We wrote my parents & FI's parents thank you notes after my baby shower, so we will do the same for my bridal shower!
