enjoying the spotlight!!

So..over the last few years as ive been going to ppls weddings/showers...ive been WAITING for it to be my turn...now that it is..its WEIRD!! lol

ill have a party JUST FOR ME!!! (the shower) THEN i can come home and share all the fun gifts with FI and it will be like CHRISTMAS!! :-)

THEN the entire day of the wedding is all about me and FI!! 

I know im SOO GOING to cry all day both days...lol but...i got great makeup that wont come off with water!! lol

That is how I feel too! I had such a blast at my shower opening presents and everything I am glad you are enjoying it!

I know what you mean! I keep checking the registries (I can't help it!!) and after seeing SO many items being purchased all for me (and FI) I can't help but feel so lucky and blessed!

I've also been to my share of showers/weddings and its super exciting that this time around, its all about me and FI.

i felt the same way! i was so worried about the shower but when it got here i had so much fun and even cried a little because i had no idea that fi family cared so much!

I agree it almost doesn't seem real that its actually going to be for me (&FI) and not someone else.

I cried eighth before my shower so overwhelmed with the thought of being in the spotlight and the love I felt but then at my shower it w such a whirlwind I didn't have time to cry just so happy.

I'm excited for my other shower on Saturday!  I had a small shower with FI's family (about 12 people) 2 weeks ago, but this weekend we'll have almost 40.  Which is a lot of people =]
