Anyone else not have a day off for Easter?

Just wondered if anyone else was not given a day off for Easter. I am highly annoyed with my workplace so I felt if I wasn't the only one then I may feel a little better about it. To top it off the president of the company and his sons are all taking off (family owned small business)...how nice is that?

    We don't. We only get Federal holidays off, which do not include Easter.

    Well I practically don't have off... One of my absent minded professors told me that a huge grade dependent project was due on on the 28th only to tell me today that it was actually due on the 26th. Which wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't have a final for an online class on saturday and my engagement pics on monday (which can be all day, and will be all day because me and my FI are paying for everything and will therefore squeeze every thing we can out of each penny we spend). 

    I asked her like two weeks in advanced so that I could plan out my whole schedule for the month and be able to plan our pics on day that isn't right before something is due... This just made me so mad... Now I'm gonna have to spend all day Easter finishing up this project so that I can be somewhat stress free on Monday... 

    And to make things worse, she is trying to say that we need to come in on the "last" day of finals week. Every other teacher I have ever had makes sure to give us our final on a Monday or Tuesday so we don't have to go in on Wednesday or Thursday (no class on Fridays) and there is no way i am waking up at 7 am in the morning to go in for one class.... 

    Sorry I just turned this into a rant, but I am so annnoyed! hopefully this will at least make you feel somewhat better... maybe.. a little... ??

    Yeah I didn't get off either. My FI did though. Which means he can clean the apartment before my mother gets in town for the holiday :-D
