So I met with our potential caterer today and I loved him! He had a great personality and the food is amazing. He's within our price range and is even going to work with us on bartending/alcohol since we have to provide our own at the venue were using. Everything sounds perfect right?! Well I thought so too until he said that he only provides plastic plates and silverware because washing them at our venue is too difficult.... Our venue is a restored theater with a small kitchen upstairs that I guess doesn't have a sink! I never checked out the kitchen when we looked at the place but I'm wishing I had. So... We can rent dinnerware but then we have to wash it ourselves before returning it.
I'm really super bummed because I was excited about this guy but I really do not want plastic dishes, I think its cheap and tacky, for the venue that we have!!
Today was suppose to be a good 'work on wedding' day and now I'm stressing about having to spend even more money(that isn't in the budget)!!
Ugh, sorry, just needed to vent!
