Anxiety over FI 's Bach Party

So tomorrow the boys are going to OC MD for four days. I am excited for him because he is a chef and works long hours and rarely gets a long weekend, but for whatever reason I having anxiety over it being so long...I totally trust him, but when he gets with his buddies he drinks to excess...but i guess most guy Bach parties are like this...I don't know if I just bitter I'm stuck at home working or that I got one night while he out for four days...oh well..can't wait for Monday so he safely back...hhaha

I'm right there with you. FI's bachelor party isn't for two more weeks. I don't really care about him touching strippers or drunk flirting at a bar. What I am actually worried about is that they'll get so drunk that they hurt themselves somehow, or get arrested for public urination. lol

I totally understand how you feel! I have anxiety issues and my FI went to VEGAS for his bach party... We live in Montreal so it's wasn't just a small drive or anything.

His BM is a big party guy and has a tendency to get out of control when he drinks, so I was pretty freaked out. Despite all that, they all made it home safe, nobody got lost or arrested or died. lol My FI acted like a gentleman, had his first (and last) lapdace because he hated it, and they just got drunk and danced and acted silly.

Just keep yourself busy the weekend he is gone... Pamper yourself, enjoy time with your girlfriends, and try to have people sleep at your place or stay somewhere else, I was really glad I had arranged that so I didn't have to sleep alone! Also, come back here if you need support, we will be here for you! xo

Agree with PP- keep yourself busy!  I was so glad I had planned to have one of my BM's visiting the same weekend FI went to New Orleans for his bach party.  I trust him 100%, but it was nice to be distracted rather than constantly thinking "I wonder what he's doing right now...?". 
If your FI is anything like mine, he'll have a blast, but come Monday, he will be so happy to come home to see you!  Distance makes the heart grow fonder, and it's adorable to have FI tell you how much he missed you!

Just keep yourslef busy with the girls and try not to think about it.  He'll be fine and I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.  I used to be like that with my exs, for now with my FI it's like whatever go have fun and do what you want!  Just try to relax :-)

My biggest paranoia is the hangover haha. I 100% trust FI, I worry about what kind of joke his GMs are gonna play on him.

I had the same concerns...  FI had his bach party last weekend, and they started at 5pm.  At 2pm, as I was doing Thank you Notes on the couch, he asked if I thought it was too early for him to start drinking.  I was like YES!  You have a very long night ahead of you!

They were meeting for a BBQ dinner at his buddy's house, and then all I knew is that the party would move on from there.

A couple of my girlfriends were amazing and took me out to dinner and bowling, and then dancing to keep my mind off of it.

He got home about a half hour after I did, and from facebook, I can see that apparently the 'party' ended up with them all being too tired to go out anywhere, so they stayed at the buddy's house made s'mores.  haha. 

Woo crazy guys.

I'm right there with ya!  My FI's is this weekend and I'm a little stressed.  Unfortunately I know the kind of bachelor parties his GM like to throw and they are totally inappropriate.  They would pretty much do anything to have sex with a stripper I'm pretty sure.  Luckily I think they Best Man is a big more controlled and he's planning the whole thing so I hope it won't be so bad.  As far as my FI goes, he's not the stripper type but he does drink a lot when he goes out and I too am worried that he will injure himself or get arrested.  I can't wait for Sunday when it's all over!

I am stressed too...so that is why I am doing mine the same weekend!  He is going to Vegas and I am going to Chicago.  That way I can completely take my mind off of him since I will be having fun!

FI's bachelor party was in Foxwoods a few months ago. I wasn't really worried, the only thing that did worry me was that he would end up withdrawing all of his money in his checking account for gambling so he left his debit card at home. He just brought cash.
