Last month, we picked out our menu. It is sit-down and guests will choose their entree and send it back with the RSVP. (Invites have been ordered already).
Today I was typing up our menu for my friend making them, and I realized that the glaze over the filet mignon choice is veal based (it is called veal demi-glace). I know a lot of people have moral objections to veal, and I feel bad because there is no mention of this when choosing their entree (it just says filet mignon).
Do you guys think I should ask the venue not to put the glaze on top of it? Would you be upset if you ordered the steak and came to find out there is veal in it? I personally don't like the idea of eating veal, and have only tried it once. But, honestly I don't think I'd be mad, and I'm sure I would eat it anyways.
But, I would like to hear others' opinions.
TIA.
