which phrase?

I'm getting my Mom a hankie for the wedding and I'm having it embroidered but I can't decide on which phrase I want to have on it.

Here are the two I've narrowed it down to:

May joy be in your tears today as you share with me my wedding day.

To dry your happy tears on my wedding day. Thank you for the wedding of my dreams.

Which one do you like better? Anyone have any better phrses? or something to add to these ones?

I got a handkie for my mom as well and used something similar to your phrase #2.

"To dry your happy tears on my wedding day as you have always dried mine."
