First Wedding Gifts!

Today I received our cake topper (YAY!) and another package from Macys, at first I was confused because I didn't order anything from Macys then I realized it must be a wedding gift!!

There were two gifts wrapped, but on the packing slip it had two other items stating they had been previously shipped, but we haven't received any other gifts... it is possible they are being shipped via USPS...

On the card it said the gifts were from two of FMIL's friends. One of the friends has a husband and teenage daughter, while the other is single... do I thank the husband and teenage daughter for these gifts as well?

I know that I will have to send both woman a TYN but how long should I wait for the other two gifts before I should send out the TYN for these gifts?

    i would wait a couple days for the other items to come in.  i think it's ok to wait a week or two to send thank you notes.  plus, they know you're busy.  that could give you some time to wait for the other package.

    i would write the thank you note to whoever's name was on the card.  if the one lady didn't include her husband and daughter on the note, then i would just send the thank you to her.  maybe that's not 'etiquette' or whatever, but it makes it easier... and that's what i'm all about right now  haha
