SO here we are with 3 weeks left until the wedding and wouldn't you know my skin decides to have a mind of it's own. My face now has a rash all over my chin. UGH! I am doing everything I can to get rid of it and I'm sure it is caused by stress but either way I need it to go away.

Any ideas on how to get rid of it? It is itchy and red and really dry. I keep putting Aveeno allergy lotion on it hoping that will help but does anyone know of anything else?

If my skin gets like this I use an Over the counter Steroid cream. Cortizol I think is the name. Clears it up quickly, especially when it is soar. Ask your Pharmacist they should be able to help direct you to the right thing for you.

My skin freaked out last week, too! I went to Ulta and got Dermadoctor's Calm Cool & Corrected moisturizer. I've been applying it and then pressing a few drops of argan oil over it, and my patchy skin cleared up super fast.

Overall, not super impressed with the moisturizer and will probably take it back- Not getting amazing results for what I paid for it. However, I LOVE argan oil- I think it's been the main helper in getting my skin back on track.

 Do you have any food allergies? I did as a child and when I ate something I was allergic to my chin would become very itchy and bumpy. I think you should talk to a pharmacist to make sure it's not something that needs actual medication before going to cosmetics solutions.

I have been breaking out like a teenager!  I think its all the stress of work, finals at school, and final details of the wedding.

 

Hopefully it will STOP.

I don't have food allergies and I haven't been wearing makeup much lately so I know it isn't either one of those.

New laundry detergent? I would just get a cortisone cream or something.

go see your doc and see if he/she will put you on prednisone about a week before the wedding. I have KP, a disorder that makes my upper arms have little red bumps...when I'm on prednisone it makes my skin flawless. but, it's obviously not something I'd ever go on for an extended period of time. 

that would clear up any skin issure you're having!!

I'm so glad I'm not the only having issues. My face just broke out. I use Proactiv everyday which usually keeps my skin all clean and normal. But for some reason my skin has broken out the last week.
