I need your ideas! Escort/place cards

So we are having a vintage inspired 5/12/12 wedding. I am SO excited, but SO cannot  believe it's only 2 months away.

Anyway I am struggling over what to do for escort cards and place cards. I bought some vintage looking admission style tickets (originally for scrapbooking) and I plan to use those somehow. But I am so creatively lost at the moment.

Skeleton keys would be AWESOME but all the places I've looked they are $3-5 PER KEY, and I'd need about 70 of them. Not really the investment I was looking for. From there...I'm lost.

You could make the paper look old by staining it or "burning" it. And then place it in an old looking hat box or luggage.

Also you could have it hung on line like clothes used to be.

I also found this that I thought would just be really neat but not sure if it would match your theme. I think you could make it work.

I would google "vintage escort cards" a TON of cute ideas came up! I don't know what would work best for your vintage theme and location.
There were some that had the card pinned to lace, which I thought were pretty and probably super easy to do. You could do that with an image of a skeleton key on the escort card.

Isn't there a trick where you soak the paper in coffee and then bake in oven for a little while...
