How was your weekend??

GM!

Weekend was ok for me - lots of meetings and work stuff.  This week is going to be awesome though (I hope!).  My e-ring comes back today after being serviced, and then im grabbing dinner with college friends, including one I havent seen in 5 years.  tomorrow is veil shopping, and Friday I get to go home for a friend's wedding and FI is meeting me there!

My weekend was pretty good, didn't do much of anything besides address our stds! They're going out today or tomorrow or whenever it stops torrentially downpouring long enough for me to drop them in a mailbox!

The weekend was chilly!  But it was kind of nice being in hoodies and sweatpants again

On Saturday I had to go to an open house for the academic department I work for on campus.. got home around 1 and then relaxed, then went to "A Taste of Bethesda", where all the local restaurants i our town put booths out in the streets for everyone to sample their menu.  It was delicious!  At night, we went to our friend's apartment in DC for dinner (even though I wasn't really hungry!).

On Saturday we watched the Steelers game, went to the mall, did some grocery shopping at Trader Joe's, made a yummy dinner then watched tv until we fell asleep. 

This weekend we're going back home to Pittsburgh to meet with a florist, goto an event planning center and have dinner for my sister's birthday.  We sent out our save the dates last week so a lot of people are getting them and commenting on them as well!  We went to a photobooth to do them, printed multiple copies out on glossy paper, and adhered them to magnet sheets and cut them out.  Here's what they look like:

ginny - FI and I are looking at moving to Bethesda post-wedding (he lives in Arlington, and I'm looking at the NIH for jobs).

I would really love some advice on how to not pay a million dollars in rent there, if you have any!

Hello Ladies! Weekend was pretty much a blur. Saturday I worked 7am-8:30pm. Sunday I was toast and then last night after the game my mom, FI, and I made cookies! 

Ginny & MHPHD- My FI used to work in Arlington! Small world!

On the wedding front not too much going on. I've started to get on my DF about getting the invites taken care of. He's designing them.. He has them basically done now we have to worry about everything else.. directions cards, rsvps, and so on.

My weekend was pretty good.  I had a friend stay with me for a skating competition, and then we went out for my birthday.  It's finally gotten cooler here (low 80's instead of upper 90's). 
As for the skating thing--I skated well and won both of my events.
Nothing new on the wedding front...
