Good morning!

Good Morning! Last night DF and I went to church for ash wednesday and then picked up our new DYSON! It is a wedding gift from FBIL/FSIL :) Funny the things that excite us. And that was pretty much our night!

Hope everyone has a great day! Any exciting plans for the upcoming weekend?

Good morning ladies!!  Sorry I have been MIA...work is crazy during our corp. tax prep time.  I love my job, but I despise these 2 weeks each year!
We have been in a wedding lull lately.  We have all of our major vendors contracted, the dress is bought and the STDs have been sent.  Now on to the little things.  We have a meeting with our wedding planner on Monday.  I always like seeing her. She gets me back on track. She is super organized and always has great ways to bring my ideas together.

I am not looking forward to all of the snow they are predicting. I am thinking that lil' groundhog messed up a bit and I may have to take a trip to go set him straight...lol.

Another good thing about next week is I have another appt with my sports medicine doc....hoping to get cleared to start running.  My ankle still hurts and I don't want to do more damage, but not running is starting to make me sad Frown

    Have a great day y'all!

DP- We are registered for a Dyson.  With our 2 fur makers we need a new vacuum desperately.  Let me know how you like it.

Pittsburgh September Siggy - Our honeymoon will be at the Royal Suites Turquesas in P*nta Cana. Super excited!

Good morning.  It's going to rain 2-3 inches here today.  At least I'm not in Pittsburgh with the snow though.  It really feels like it should be Friday.

    Hi ladies!

Today is a great day - After ten days away my FI is finally coming home from Oregon! I can't wait to see him! This afternoon I am also meeting with Sumer from Simply Perfect Weddings to set up a little bit of help for this whole planning process! Really excited to meet her, I love her blog and she seems to have great ideas.

Last night I started to work on those adorable personalized hangers for wedding dress and BM dresses. The wire I got was a little thick, but my first attempt wasn't too bad! Attempt #2 planned for tonight! I'm really excited about all the little details and I'm glad I still have over a year to incorporate them into planning.

Hope everybody has a great day! Let's pray the temp stays up and we stick with rain and no snow!

Lindsay...we are using Sumer.  We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her!!!!  I am sure you will too.  She has been an absolute gem.  I can't imagine planning this without her. Let me know how it goes.

    Hey everyone!

Not much going on here. Busy at work as usual (my FI and I are both accountants/CPAs as well so this time of year is just awful). Not as busy as I was last year though when I was in public accounting thankfully.

So today marks the one year before I am married- our wedding is on March 10th 2012 :-) The countdown begins!

Have a good day every body!

    Hi girls!
Last night was pretty uneventful - FI and I went to dinner then he had to get something at the mall so we walked around there a bit. After that I got about 1/2 of the envelope return address printed - moving right along! Hope everyone is well!

db -WOOHOO!!!!! I wanted a Dyson but FI said it wasn't worth the money - booo - so we registered for the Shark.

Janice - yay for sending out your STDs!

amy - we didn't get nearly as much rain as was predicted... I sometimes hate the news - they make people panic which causes traffic to be a disaster :(

lindsay - GL with the hanger!!

md - yay for your DC trip! Hope today goes quick for you!

sari - woohoo for 1 year - it will go by SO fast! trust me!!! lol

G - how was printing the return addresses on the back of the envelopes? I want to do that too but am nervous that I won't get them centered right :(

db - it was pretty annoying (and time consuming). I printed the addresses on the fronts a while back and found that I had to tape each envelope to an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet so that the printer didn't 'eat' the envelopes. So for the backs, I had to do the same (tape down the envelope) PLUS I had to tape down the flaps so they didn't get 'eaten' either... it is quite a production...

As for spacing, do you have photoshop? I printed them all through photoshop and I got the spacing perfect by creating a new photoshop file the exact size of the envelope, then I created a 'custom' print setting, that I set to the same measurements. It then printed in the bottom right corner of the paper, so I taped the envelopes 'upside down' to align with the bottom right of the 8-1/2 x 11 - does that make sense?? Lol... overall A LOT of work.

I can take pictures of what I mean when I get home if you'd like!

Hmmmm i think you just confirmed my idea of getting a STAMP with our address!! I love the look of them printed on the back of the envelope but I dont think i'd have the patience to tape then print and all that. Thank you for explaining!!

G, you seriously have amounts of patience that are totally foreign to me.  I would have given up on the invites long, long ago.  I am amazed at the work you have done for your invites, sincerely.
