My something borrowed and something old

Im super excited and emotional. My mom called me to tell me she wants me to wear my great grandmothers engagement ring and wedding ring on my right hand for the wedding. Is it a little weird to wear two sets of rings. They are both very similar looking but one is like 80 years old

not at all! I think that's a beautiful idea. I always wear my great-aunt's wedding ring, and my mom will be wearing the same aunt's engagement ring to the wedding in addition to her own rings. No one has ever questioned it, although sometimes people ask who they belonged to if they can tell they are antiques.

Sounds awesome. Congrats! Unfortunately I can't wear any of my grandmother's or great aunts rings. They all had tiny hands and I'm a big, tall girl with big hands. My family heirloom rings barely fit my pinkie! Srsly!

My e-ring has a nice vintage touch to it. It's new, but i like the vintagey classic feel to it.
