Registry!

My oh my, I felt like a kid in a candy score while I was doing our wedding registry at Target and Bed Bath and Beyond! My FI had to take control because I think I was going over board with the scanner! lol... Has anyone else begun their registry?!  If so, where are you going too?

I did it online (less overwhelming that way) at Macys, and Pfaltzgraff.

Totally agree!! We did one at Bed, Bath & Beyond and it was so fun using the scanner!  We'll be doing one at Macy's also in the Fall, and possibly a third one at Pottery Barn or somewhere else- but not sure on that yet

I haven't started mine, because I know all the stuff will change. But were registering at Target, BB&B, and. Wal-mart. I know wal-mart sounds bad, but that is the ONLY store where FI lives in IA, so his mom said its a must.

We're going to have to register at Wal-Mart also!  It's the only store within 30 miles of where we live.....  So, we'll register there and at Belk (which is the only Department store within 50 miles of where we live!)   Yes, we live in the middle of nowhere! =P

We did ours back in December... I was overexcited and did a lot of things early, but it's nice because I'm not really stressed at all now. We registered at Macy's and BBB, and I check them both religiously. Some items have been discontinued, and we've changed our fine china and everyday china patterns already, but it's nice because I got a Macy's card and for every dollar I spend, I get 10% back, and for every item someone buys of the registry, 5% back, so after the wedding we'll have a sizable gift card coming to us for completion.

It is so much fun to run around with the scanner though!

We haven't done ours yet for fear of stuff getting discontinued. I'm thinking we'll do an online registry like registry360. That way we're not tied to one or two stores and can register for non-traditional stuff since we already live together. But I imagine most of the stuff will be from Target... I LOVE that store!

PS. There is NOTHING wrong with Walmart! Although, FI is a manager there so I'm slightly bias!

Sounds great!!! And there is definitely NOTHING bad about walmart! That place has so many of the same items at great prices Good luck ladies!

 I would be worried about  registering too early for a few things because something was out of inventory and not to be brought back- so you could find out it isn't even available at your wedding date!  

But-  I started my wish registry early though (www.uponourstar.com) because it was just easy to add things as we found them since it is a little unique registry- house remodel stuff is a lot of our stuff- but otherwise, dishes and stuff- I say closer to the date is better!

we have not done ours yet...but will this summer, we are thinking about probably doing bed, bath and beyond, and also MEC (mountain equipment co-op). FI has lots of furnature and just moved to i helped to pick out stuff for the new place, so we dont really need the basics and outdoors stuff is whatwe are both really into but cant afford to get good quality stuff (tent, canoe, etc etc) so we thought a registry there would be awesome...one of his friends did that a few years ago.
