Ok knotties help! How do I do place cards for couples with meal choices?

So we were planning on putting one couple on one card. We are also having specific meal choices, not a buffet.  How do we express to the servers which person is getting what?  I'd like there to be as little confusion as possible and not switching plates and whatnot.  I know someone has already thought of this!

I bought a flower paper punch and then picked a different color for each meal choice (different shades of my wedding colors) and I will glue a paper flower to each escort card

I think this was kind of the direction I was thinking.  Are you going to glue a flower next to each name then?  Because with 2 people on a card, I don't want them to just plop 2 meals down and say "figure it out".

Oh OK!  That makes it easier, haha.

I did a different color card for each entree selection.  But since you are doing 2 couples on a card, how about little stick on rhinestones (if that fits in?)  You could either do different color stickers, a different number of the same sticker (1 = chicken, 2 = beef), or write the names in different color ink (blue=chicken, purple=steak, etc.)
