My MOH is a friend of 24 years. A person I thought was my BEST friend... until recently. We had an agreement that if my FI and I purchased her dress on our Davids Bridal charge, she would pay us monthly so we could pay the bill. She is suppose to pay us 3 days before the bill is due to ensure that it gets there in time. Last month she was late, by 2 weeks. Now, we find out shes in Florida for a month and our bill is due in 4 days. When I text her asking about paying she says "Oh, I'm in Florida, I don't know when we'll be back exactly". Soooooo.... I guess I have to pay for all your sh*t now?
I know, it seems stupid, but really, she's had OVER 1.5 YEARS TO SAVE $85 for her dress... Why is it this hard? I'm not asking for the whole payment either lol. Just the damn minimum.
She isn't planning the shower because she says "She doesn't know what to do", so instead of being in contact with my mom, she just ignores my calls/texts as well as my mom's to figure things out. So now, my mom and her 3 friends have graciously offered to throw a shower for me.
I ask my MOH about shoes, she says "I don't know" and then doesn't say anything else about it. I try to contact her about anything wedding and she doesn't care. But, let me tell you... when she needs something from me or my fiance, she is calling/texting/stopping over/facebooking us/ etc. It's really quite stressfull being it's uh like what, 70 days away?
