TGIF! Weekend Plans??

Morning!  I'm in DC (yay!) to give a talk on my research today, then my bridesmaids arrive to DC tonight and we hopefully find them dresses tomorrow!  I met FI for dinner yesterday and we ended up buying my wedding band and finding a few he liked - just waiting on some price quotes. 

So, what are your weekend plans??  Hope everyone has a good one!

Hi!

So we were hoping to go to the waterpark this weekend but it looks like it might rain. Which means that I might be able to convince my fiance to start our registry at one store. We are starting with the REI registry first since I know he will have an easier time with it (he thinks our camping stuff will be more of use then things like a vacuum and china, and he has a point lol).

We are also going to set up the rest of the apartment. I've worked pretty hard on it but there are some things I can't do without help from my tough FI :-) He has to carry some things and put shelves up, etc. Hopefully it will finally be done this weekend.

sari- Woohoo for registering! REI seems like a cool place to register. Good luck getting all the apartment stuff done...we just finished all our stuff this week and I feel your pain!

We were planning on going to Sandcastle tomorrow; hoping the rain holds out at least for a few hours. Other than that, nothing is really going on. Just enjoying our new apartment!

mdphd- yes, we'd love to see pics of your bands once you get them!  we should probably start looking for ours too.

This weekend we're heading back to the burgh!  We have our taste testing at 2:00 Saturday, which we are so pumped about.  That morning, we're going to the strip to look at possible reception decor, and will stop at Carlisles to try on a few dresses.  While I'm there, FI is going to stop up at Soldiers and Sailors (our venue) to snap a few pictures so we know where/how to decorate.

Hi Ladies! Happy Friday!

This weekend FI is off to a Bachelor Party.. I'll be at home wedding planning.. I've had a horriable time with Vendors getting back to me! UGH! So hopefully this weekend I'll either finally make some connections or just move on and find some new ones!

mdphd- Awesome you found your wedding band! Ditto on the Posting Pictures! GL on dress shopping!

Sarilynn- Have fun at REI, FI would have LOVED to register there but, I just don't "camp" like he does

Sadly,my weekends are weekdays.I will be at the golf course all weekend. The bright side to that, I get to spend plenty of time with my babies starting next week when we close for course maintenance!

I miss Sandcastle,Kennywood and Idlewild! I can't wait to go once we move back to  the best city EVER!
