What do I do with it?

My mom just gave me a handkerchief that my grandmother and her both carried on their wedding day. I am very touched but what the heck do I do with it? My mom suggested sticking it in my bra...yuck! I don't have pockets and I don't think I can incorporate it in my bouquet.

  • what is your dress like?  Can you pin it in your dress somewhere?

  • I wore my grandmother's hankerchief... I tucked it into my two garters.

  • You could wrap your bouquet in it, or pin it to one of the layers of your dress

  • I kept a small vintage hanky in my bouquet hand, and held on to it after passing off my flowers to my MOH- It never got in my way through the ceremony, and fortunately I didn't need to use it ;)

  • I'm gonna have a blue handkerchief too.  I was planning on just putting it in my little purse thingy, maybe shove it in my cleavage for the ceremony in case I need it, which I probably will.  How do you fish something out of your boob in the middle of a ceremony inconspicuously?

  • I would hang onto it with your bouquet in case you cry during the ceremony, but if you don't want to do that/don't think you'll cry then you could tuck it in your garter or pin it to the inside of your skirt!
