boutonniere on dress blues?

my brother is a groomsman in our wedding and he'll be wearing his dress blues (which we're pretty excited about).  i'm not sure if he would wear a boutonniere or not?  my assumption would be no because i know there's a specific way he's supposed to look in his uniform, but i just thought i'd ask since i'm in the process of picking out flowers and stuff.

I would look up pictures of military weddings. I think then you could get a idea of the rules. I don't see where it would be a big deal and I want to say I've seen them wear one before. I'm not really sure on the rules with their uniforms.

My FI is a military man and wearing his Class A's for the wedding. For their dress, they are not supposed to have anything on their uniform.

Nothing is supposed to go on a Class A uniform unless it is company issued.
