AHHH! SO FRUSTRATED!!

So since about 4pm today I've been trying to create our guestbook using various online programs (mainly burb & mixbooks) but apparently my photos don't have a high enough resolution??! I'm just supper frustrated!

If you DIY'ed your guest book, how did you do it? What did you use?

  • I made our guest book on Mixbook and sometimes the photos cannot be blown up any bigger than the starting size. Have you tried having the photos smaller on Mixbook?

  • yeah, the smaller images work which would be fine for everything except the cover...

I am using Picaboo.  I haven't finished ours yet, but all the books I've made in the past with Picaboo have turned out well.
  • I used Shutterfly and didn't have any issues...  good luck!

  • I used shutterfly as well and loved it.

  • My sister is a photographer and she would kill me for saying this, but unless it's super pixelated like squares all over the place, it will probably look okay. They probably do that to ensure the quality is high enough for professional clients (my sister also works for a printing company and she said professional photogs send stuff back all the time even when it looks okay to other people).

  • my roommate did one on mixbook and half of them the resolution was too high (or whatever!) and she ordered it anyway and all the pictures look great. You cant even tell which ones were the high res!
  • great, thanks ladies. I went in and talked to my boss this morning (who is also our photog) she said that one of the office staff gave me the wrong disk. She's buring a new one for me, which should make things easier  :)
