So, my bacherlorette party was a success....kind of.
Friday night my bms "kidnapped" me around 8pm. We went to a great beach cottage and hung out. We had girl time, swapped stories, and had a great time. They then blindfolded me and took me to a local bar (not sure why they blindedfolded me...but whatever). We have a fun time at the bar. I ended up sitting outside with on BM and we talked to coasties and a guy who looked like Jesus. Awesome time.
The next morning my mom came and got me at 10am so the girls could set up for something. I had a good time sobering up with her....and then she suggested that I wear a pretty floral sundress and a hat...so...I figured out the girls were setting up some kind of party.
We got back to the cottage and the girls were throwing me a tea party themed bridal shower!!! it was so much fun! we had tea and punch and lots of food, played games and had a great time. then a "pleasure party" rep showed up and did a sex toy party -- also fun.
That night my FI and the guys came to our house and we all got ready for our joint bachelor/bachelorette bar golf party. We had a great time! Nobody got too drunk unitl 12:30 when we were at our last bar. Of course there was some drunk drama...but everyone ended up home safe and sound and nobody was arrested. (that equals a successful night).
NOW the fun stuff.
woke up STILL DRUNK at 10 am on Sunday. FI and I and one of my BMs and her FI went back to me and FI's house and had lunch and showered. We then went to my parents' house...where we all took naps. I woke up at 6:30 finally sober, but in a ton of pain. My head was killing me. My hangover coincided with a blood sugar crash. At 7 I was covered in HIVES. Needless to say this morning I am stilll hungover and itchy. YUCK.
NO idea what caused the hives -- might be a reaction to the detergent used at the beach cottage...or from the alcohol....or from too much medication (my thyroid doesn't work, and i took allergy pills, and I took ibuprofen.) who knows.
