Finally going to address the "can I bring my baby" issue

I've drafted a letter/email that I plan on sending to FI's cousin who asked if she could bring her baby to the wedding. I want your opinions on it before I send it though! I've also forwarded the email to my Mom and FMIL to make sure that they think its ok to send too:

Hi Cousin,

It was great seeing you this weekend at the shower! I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to chat, it was such a hectic day!

I wanted to talk to you about the question you texted Michael a week or so ago about whether or not we would be able accommodate Baby at the wedding.

Unfortunately, we aren't able to invite any children to the wedding, my parents asked us to keep the list at a certain number so we had to make a clear cut off point of "no children." This wasn't an easy decision for us to make since I have some very young cousins that I wasn't able to invite. We also weren't able to invite Michael's other cousin's children, even his Godson.

While I know that Baby won't be eating/drinking at the wedding, I'm afraid that people who had to hire baby sitters and leave their children at home to attend the wedding will not be pleased that we made any exceptions to the "no children" rule.

I sincerely hope that you and Husband are still able to attend the wedding, and let me know if you have any other questions.

Thoughts?
