we're back to normal life today.... wedding saturday went AMAZING! kinda hectic.... ok, really hectic leading right up to, and right after... but it was amazing!! i only almost cried once... but hubby (!) smacking his gum at the altar made me laugh so it was ok... it was hilarious, he freaked out and apologized because he forgot to spit it out... lol... i told him i totally didn't care... least of my worries!!
our photographer was awesome... i can't wait to see the sneek peek she'll have for us soon... our first look pic was awesome... it was just him, me and my son (he's 5), so it was really sweet... he just kept saying how beautiful it was and that i picked a great dress lol.
reception was crazy! i'm horrible at speaking in front of people, so i just said a small thank you and "let's eat some cake" lol!! then, we couldn't get the stinkin ribbon to come off the cake so there was a bit off down time, which was wierd, but it was ok...
then, the AFTER PARTY!! it was a BLAST!! we had it at our home, and we had a bbq.... had a whole hog smoked, with all the fixin's... haha, yes, we're a little country... then, we got the jeeps out... we have some acreage in the back that's wooded, so they guys thought they would try to drive through the pond... yes, the pond... it was crazy! but, soooooo fun!! we had a great time, and lots of people came to hang out... definitely a day i'll never forget....
all in all, we had a GREAT day, and i'm sooooo happy to finally be mrs. berry.... we had a great time on our mini-moon... just a couple days away in a cabin all to ourselves... was some GREAT quality time.. we're both back at work today and have already texted each other how much we miss hangin out!!
and, all the may 18-20 brides, if i missed your posts, congrats! hope all your days went excellent!! we made it through!! woohoo!!
