I am feeling much better today, and have been pretty productive at work :-) And its our weekend :-) So I am happy!

  I got my first celebrity reply for my wedding, woohoo!  (I sent celebrity invites out 2 weeks ago-just to see if they would come back).  Unfortunately, Steve Carrell will not be attending my wedding, but he did write me a note all about tacos on the reply card:-)  Very random, but it fits.

I'm so glad it's Thursday.  I've got a packed full weekend ahead and I'm pretty excited for it.  We're going to finish decorating the upstairs (the downstairs is already done) and then decorate our tree!  I'm really excited since we picked up an ornament for each city we were on during our HM so it will be fun to put those up and think back about that. 

And then Sunday is the Steel City Comic Con.  DH is pretty excited. He's already trying to 'wheel and deal' with some guys we met at the last one.  He's got the hand cart with the long box all ready to go.  It's kinda cute how excited he is about it. 


JennyB - I'm glad you're starting to feel better.  It's almost the weekend - I would start to feel better, too!

Heather - You MUST scan the reply card - I want to see what he said!! Who else did you send them to?

I'm already tired and want go home.  But the monsoon that we had this morning stopped and now it's sunny, so that's good.

Happy Friday Eve (and 'Friday' for JennyBee)!!  I love coming up on the weekend. And this one is definitely exciting because of our anniversary. I'm almost sad to see it pass. I love the first year of marriage!

Tonight is DH's work holiday party.  I think I may go shopping at lunch to try to find something to wear.  I have no winter dressy clothes - though I have about 10 sundresses.

Morning Ladies. I'm still feeling a bit yucky today but had to drag myself back to the office. Or else..
Our weekend is a quiet one although we are babysitting on Saturday night which should be fun (pending I still don't feel like this)

Morning, all! I have to be out of the office tomorrow (for a meeting that I have to drive several hours to get to, blech), and since I have a presentation I have to do on Saturday (double-blech), I really need to crank it out today...so probably won't be around much. Hope everyone has a good day!

Good Morning! With all of this talk about weekend plans, you are going to make me think it's Friday! Nothing exciting here...I'm just going to try to not be so mean today. After the last few days of work, I have had absolutely no patience by the end of the day with people on the metro. Though some do deserve my meaness.... I told DH I'm probably going to come home with a black eye someday!

This week went surprisingly fast for me, and have a busy weekend ahead of me.

DF and I went to the Duquesne/Pitt game last night. Being a Duq grad and season ticket holder, it was awesome to see that many fans dressed in red!  Tough loss though

Good Morning everyone! I have a benefit tonight right after work, so it's going to be a long day!

So, my FMIL has this seer lady at work who forsees the future. So far she's been right (our engagement, BIL's baby). She told MIL that I will get pregnant before the wedding. I'm freaking out. Not only do I not want that to happen, I don't want it for at least 3 years. Not that I really believe in those things, but I'm def freaking out over here

but I think that you are more in control of getting KTFU then they are unless they come over and put a gun to your head. Don't worry I think people like to say those things to get brides all freaked out.

Well, its working.  I'm def freaked out. I can't imagine it would ever be possible for it to happen. And why does she think that its her place to talk about stuff like that to anyone- let alone her co-worker!? This is driving me crazy.

Good morning ladies!  I had a big presentation that ran late last night after work, and FI surprised me with dinner that he actually cooked himself- a rare event and a nice surprise   Is it really lame that I've been in a great mood all week for no other reason than I've been getting to wear all my new clothes from Black Friday shopping, haha?

Sara, that is beyond weird that anyone would discuss that at work!  And I think someone saying that would freak me out a little too.
I drive to Hershey tomorrow for a conference....I'm thinking about stopping at Chocolate world for some Christmas presents on the way home!
