So I had my second fitting with my dress shop.... it's still a smidge tight at the top but that's life and it zips up so I'm going to call it even. She sewed down some lace, fixed the bustles and my BM was there to see how they all assembled so I think we're good.
I know the seamstress wanted to keep it longer to do a fitting closer to the date but I want to take the dress to my hometown when I go there for the bridal shower next weekend.
My awesome BM is flying there at about the same time (diff flight) to go to the shower with me (and meet all my hometown friends). So she said she can help me carry it since my separated shoulder is really not cooperating and the joint is killing me.
So the dress is in the house for a week and it's so thrilling to have it back :-)
