Processional Music

I have seen quite a few of these here the past few days. anyway, how long is your processional song? And I am completely clueless as to what song to use for the girls to walk to. There are only 2 of them so it doesn't need to be very long. 

I am torn between 2 versions of Canon in D Major. One is 5:11 minutes long and the other is 2:27 minutes long. I'm afraid that one is too long and the other is too short. Any advice?

I only have one girl, so her song will be relatively short. Is it live music, music from a dj, or ipod? If it's either live musicians or a dj, they'll stop when they get to the front.

Your DJ should be able to deal with the song length and know when to fade it out. You shouldnt let the entire song play. Just let the girls walk down the aisle and when they are up there the DJ should fade out the song.

is it possible to take your girls (or a couple stand-ins) to your ceremony venue and time it out? I'm doing that tomorrow.

I'm doing Canon in D, a version by Brian Crane.  I'm just going to have them fade it out....so I'd go with the longer one and have someone do the same.
