FI and I are getting married in a VERY small town because we're having our reception at an absolutely AWESOME state park. This state park has a lodge (where the reception will be held). The lodge has a hotel attached. When we booked with the lodge, we had absolutely no idea how many rooms to block, so we blocked 35. Most of our families and our bridal party have booked rooms but there are only about 5 rooms left and we haven't even sent out invitations! We can't block any more rooms at the lodge hotel because it is Memorial Day weekend and there aren't any other rooms available. There are no other nearby hotels in the area. The closest ones are about 20 minutes away. I've put together an entire page on my wedding website with the names of these hotels and the driving distance from each to our ceremony and reception sites. Should I make a block at one of these hotels too or should I just assume people can figure this out on their own? I feel horrible about this, but I didn't realize we'd have so many people wanting to stay on site! What would you do?
