I posted about a week ago about my FI's cousin who asked if she could bring her baby to the wedding. Well she had sent the original text to FI and he didn't respond to her yet. But I told him to tell her that I was "handling" the guest list and that he'd have to check with me.
I figured I'd ignore it and hope it would go away and maybe she'd ask me this weekend at my shower.
Well a few days before my shower I thought to myself....I wonder if she'll bring the baby to the shower!? So I called one of my BMs to ask if she heard from the cousin about whether or not the baby would be at the shower....BM said she hadn't heard anything and she couldn't possible need to bring him if it was just 4 hours and her husband was in the next town over!
Well....guess what! She brought the freakin baby to the shower!!! Without asking anyone if it was ok. Some people were ooo-ing and ahhhh-ing about the baby but I didn't even acknowledge his presences. I was mad, but I didn't want this to ruin anything so I ignored the fact that she brought the baby, but what am I supposed to do for the wedding now? If I ignore it, I'm afraid she'll bring him and I really do not want this. We weren't able to invite kids of cousins (there are about 10 total) so for her to be allowed to bring her baby, doesn't seem right to me.
