So I posted this on the Philly message board too, but I'm so excited to share it with you guys! My sister and I went to the Goodwill in Pennsauken, NJ this weekend for the annual Wedding Dress Sale. If you're not from the area, it's a big sale on tons of new wedding dresses that are donated from local bridal shops and from the Alfred Angelo factory and they are all priced from $99-$299. I kind of went in there as a fun way to bond with my sister over the wedding, but then I ended up getting my dress! The store opened at 9 am and apparently the line was all the way around the block. My sister and I didn't go until about 3 pm, and expected all of the dresses to be gone. But I found 5 beautiful new Alfred Angelo dresses that I absolutely loved! One of them ended up being my dream dress! It's off white, with an amazing top, a beaded belt, and buttons down the back (aka everything i ever wanted in a dress)! AND it has pockets!!!! My sister helped me pick it out and even "jacked me up" like monty from Say Yes To The Dress! There was no consultant there to pressure me, and the other women trying on dresses were really helpful! The dress ended up being $212 with my college discount!!!!!! It's not the experience I dreamed about, but it was seriously so much fun and really laid back. Here are some pictures:
