Making a Bio?

What website is the best for making a bio? I've seen some use Google Pages and also Weebly (?) or something along those lines?

And I know this has been asked before, but I can't find the post. How do I put a link and pictures in my signature?

I personally really like Weebly because I find it more user-friendly than Google Sites (Google Pages was actually discontinued and transferred over to Google Sites), which I use for our Knot pages like the wedding list and vendor lists.  Really, you can't go wrong with any web tool with a good CMS editor, but Weebly has worked out really well for me.

Let me try to find the post about updating sig info...

Hi! I completely agree with LaFemme - I def think Weebly is more user friendly than Google....

As for adding your sig pic, here are step by step directions (at least how I do it)

    - Go to photobucket.com (it's free to create and account if you don't already have one)
    - Sign in and press the 'upload images & video' link
    - Once you upload a photo, copy the 'direct link' code
    - go to tinyurl.com and paste the 'direct link code' from photobucket into the box and convert the link into a tiny url
    - copy the tiny url
    - go to your bio page on theknot.com (you can do this by clicking on your name in the box that pops up in the bottom of the screen)
    - click on the 'edit my avatar and sig' link on the top left hand corner (above your name and photo)
    - enter this format: <img src="enter your tinyurl here">  -- paste your tiny url in place of the bold text
    - press save changes

    And to add your bio:

-Create your bio on a site such as weebly or Google Sites and 'publish' it
-copy the url link from the website you just publised
    - go to tinyurl.com and paste the url from your website into the box and convert the link into a tiny url
    - copy the tiny url
    - go to your bio page on theknot.com (you can do this by clicking on your name in the box that pops up in the bottom of the screen)
    - click on the 'edit my avatar and sig' link on the top left hand corner (above your name and photo)
    - enter this format: <a target="_blank" title="enter your tinyurl here" href="enter your tinyurl here (again)">enter your text here - like My Bio, or your wedding date etc.</a>  --- paste your tiny url and text for your bio in place of the bold text.
    - press save changes.

Hope this makes sense.... if you have any qu's let me know!! Oh and also note that you can just stack up everything under your 'edit my avatar and sig' window --- the final product would look something like this: **the <br /> is for a line break**

<a target="_blank" title="enter your tinyurl for your bio here" href="enter your tinyurl for your bio here(again)">enter your text here - like My Bio, or your wedding date etc.</a>

I'll third the rec for Weebly- it's pretty user-friendly, and I'm not that tech savvy, so if I can do, anyone can!

I upload the pics I want to use for my siggy to www.tinypic.com. (you don't need to create an acct.) I right-click on it and click "properties" off the menu. There's a code I copy, but I don't remember what it's called. Then I just paste that into code that GMC posted. I wish I could be more speciific, but the tinypic is blocked at work. Once you get it up though, it's easy to change.
