Hi girls,
I just wanted to introduce myself.  I'm a newbie and just set my date as June 13, 2013.  So exciting!!!  I wish it were closer.  Happy planning June brides!

    So far we have chosen the reception venue and the caterer/planner.  We are getting married on an island in Spain called Ibiza.  Currently we both live in the Netherlands, I am American and he is Dutch.  So if we had the wedding the US his family would have to go there, and if it was in the Netherlands my family would have to come here... so we chose a beautiful destination that we absolutely love (not exactly in the middle, but oh well :)     We ended up choosing a villa for our reception.  It’s really amazing, has lots of trees and flowers, and a sea view off in the distance.  So the entire reception will be outside.  Plus we get to stay there for a week with our closest friends J.   The ceremony will probably be in a church.  I have to work on the paperwork.  I don’t have a theme or anything yet.  They planner isn’t going to start with me on that until October.  They do things a little more laid back there. But I’ve definitely been combing the internet for inspiration. I’m going to fly back to the states in 2 weeks to go dress shopping with my Mom and girlfriends.  So exciting!  I’ve really been on a rush since I’ve been engaged… does anyone else feel like that?  I’m really, really happy.  It’s probably partially because I’m 33 now and I was beginning to think I would never find the right man… But I did, I just had to go to another country to find him J
