So FI and I went to Hobby Lobby last night and got the stuff to make these...I'm not a very patient person so making these kinda tested me lol. After you get the first strings around it it becomes easier. I used a spray fabric stiffener (Beacon Stiffen Stuff) and crochet thread. I sprayed a little of the stiffener on the balloon before I started wrapping the thread.
If you try to make these, I would recommend letting them sit overnight. You can tell when they are completely dry because the balloon with pull its self away from the string. I know that sounds crazy but it does. Overall, this was a fun little project and I will most likely use these as centerpieces.
