I really didn't know who to share this with who might grasp how awesome I am
so I chose you ladies!
One of my best friends is getting married a week from Friday. After asking her if there was anything else she needed, she responded that she really wanted to have a "flash mob"/choreographed dance with her, her new husband, and the bridal party at the reception. However, since her FI broke his leg 3 weeks ago, she hasn't been able to, and asked if I could do that. I agreed, and then realized I was a drama teacher, not a dance teacher and had nowhere to begin. I also realized that I will have about 2 hours to teach this dance to the BP. Needless to say, I started freaking out.
I have since put together (what I think to be) an amazing dance number to "Dog Days" by Florence and the Machine. I taught it to some of my students and we recorded ourselves doing the dance as well as an instructional video for her bridal party (as the wedding is in Cincinnati and I live in Tucson, AZ).
I'm way proud of myself!!
