Happy Friday!!

I'm so happy this week is over, it has felt like the longest week ever. My little brother graduates from college tomorrow and I'm so excited & proud of him. Sunday since it's finally stopped raining and is nice out FI and I are going to take Paige (our dog) out for some fun outside.

 Does anyone have any good/fun weekend plans?

FI is outside cleaning his car, and I'm about to pack up our suitcase because we're leaving in about an hour to go to Chicago for the weekend for his car club.

Fi and I are planning on finishing staining our fence. Our backyard is huge and we're doing it by hand. Otherwise we plan to take our dog Griswold down to the lake. We live only a few blocks from Seneca Lake, which is the biggest of all the finger lakes here in NY wine country. Our dog loves the water. He's only nine months old though and this will be his first time actually having to swim. Mostly he just chases the hose and splashes in his kiddie pool.

We are going to an annual event at the beach, cruisin OC or Hot Rod weekend, whatever you want to call it.  It's actually where FI and I had our first kiss :-)

Basically, Ocean City gets packed full with old (and new) muscle cars and diesel trucks that are awesome and loud and like burning rubber and racing haha... when the cops aren't around but they can practically everywhere, so its tough.  Anyhoo, theres a big car show and just, lots of fun at the beach.

I'm jealous of everyone. I have today off and have a consult with a florist this morning. But I have to work all weekend. The biggest reason I do not like my job. I'm sure my FI will go out to the lake and it will irritate me because I'm stuck inside all weekend.

It's beautiful here today but I am stuck inside at work... I'm thinking I'm going to go run errands so I can get out for a little bit.

Tomorrow night we are having a bridal party dinner for my best friend who is getting married in two weeks. She thinks that it's a dinner for my engagement so we are going to totally surprise her. I'm sure she's secretly pissed that I planned this dinner with my bridesmaids right before her wedding haha.. little does she know.. She has had so much control over everything so this is our one and only chance to actually surprise her.

Sunday we are going down to the beach where I am from to celebrate my dad's birthday. I hope everyone has a nice weekend!

Ktwed, I feel your pain, kind of, haha. I was a teacher (and obviously prior a student), but now I work for a non profit educational agency and for the first time in my life, ever, I will not get a summer break. It's eating me up inside. We bought a house with a huge yard I can go be outside in all day and I'm so disappointment about losing summer break. Especially because my FI is a 10 month employee at his job and hasn't heard yet if he'll be able to pick up summer hours (he works for a college). If he gets a summer break and I don't I'll be sooooo jealous. Last year for summer we lived in a stuffy little apartment with no outdoor space, so I was stuck inside all day by myself because at that point he was a year round employee. I keep hounding him to find out if HR agreed to him picking up hours because I secretly want him to work so neither of us get a summer break (is that terribly bitchy and horrible..?)

Happy Friday Everyone! 

I am usually more of a reader than a poster - we really haven't gotten a whole lot of anything done yet! 

But I am so excited and wanted to share that I am going dress shopping on Sunday!!!   

it's beautiful here in Ohio!  hope everyone has an awesome weekend!

It is so beautiful here as well! I am off work today and have really nothing planned but going on a long walk with my mom tonight, I am trying to stay out of the gym and actually enjoy the nice weather.I have to work all weekend so I am sad about that.

Resting. Been sick since Tuesday. :( Got tomorrow off though. Would like to check out bridemaids dresses or flowers, but lets see how I feel tomorrow morning. Got to work on Sunday.
