Need some help

Hey Ladies! I need to vent/get some help. I also posted this on the fb page. My wedding colors are Royal Blue, Silver and White. My FI really wants to have a casino themed reception. I don't know what to do! I'm freaking out and when i ask him for ideas, he doesnt really have any. He usually says "IDK you will figure something out!" Any one have any ideas of what I could do? I have thought out Dice and poker chips in vases but other then that nothing!

I'm getting so stressed out about it. And my FI doesnt understand why. he pick a difficult theme. I just wanted something elegant and classic. But he kinda flipped out when I told him that and he went into the whole "every time you ask for my opinon you dont use it" thing.

Why not just have the elegant and classic decor that you want, featuring your colors, and include a few gaming tables at the reception?

Keep it simple. This is a wedding NOT a theme birthday party. You don't need to have cards and dice and poker chips everywhere. Honestly that just seems cheesy. 

Here are my thoughts:

White table linens with silver organza overlays and either silver or royal blue napkins. 

Silver accent decor pieces; candle sticks, napkin rings, place card and/or table number frames.

All white floral arrangements; roses, hydrangeas, gerbera daisies, lilies -whatever you like, all different textures and shapes all in white will look gorgeous! Your centerpieces can be in those pretty cobalt blue glass vases (all florists have them) and your bouquets can be wrapped with royal blue & silver ribbons

Put your bridesmaids in royal blue dresses with either matching blue or silver shoes and silver accessories

You could even wear royal blue shoes under your wedding dress! 

Groomsmen can wear black tuxedos (formal attire for a 'Casino Royale' effect, the guys will love that idea) with either blue or grey vests and ties (a variation on silver, but more elegant). I'd go with the grey vests and ties and give them white boutonnieres wrapped with blue ribbon. Maybe even gift them with silver dice cuff links (subtle but fun).

You can even do a favor that is related to the casino/gaming idea; royal blue and silver fuzzy dice (for the car) -it's cute and a lot of people would like/use them (just don't personalize them with your names or date) OR chocolate poker chips wrapped in silver and blue foil -those you CAN personalize because they are edible. 

You can also get a casino/gambling theme groom's cake! 

Little accents! That's all you need. The overall event "theme" is WEDDING. Have what you want; elegant, simple, classic, etc. And infuse that with little touches to give your event the feel of an elegant party at a posh casino/hotel.
