Found the dress!

The one plus-sized bridal salon in Michigan had a sample sale today. I was really optimistic that I could find something"$499 and under" but none of them were quite right. Of course, I had to try on the full-price Justin Alexanders while I was there. The one that I have on my screen saver at work (#8557) is the one I chose!

As big as I am, this dress flattered me as much as possible. I don't mean that to sound negative, but you know what I mean. Half of the ones I tried on made me look pregnant. 

I know that I will not be second-guessing this choice! I know it may seem old-fashioned, but this dress is me. I ordered extra lace, and the seamstress is going to make a jacket with it.

I am a plus-size bride, too. I'm dreading trying on dresses, especially when there is so much pressure that comes with THIS dress. I've been talking to the ladies on the Plus Size board and they had some good advice for me. Maybe I won't be a complete basket case before I get one picked out with their advice in hand!

The dress is beautiful and you look great in it! As another plus size girl I definitely get the looking pregnant in certain dresses thing. Congrats on finding THE dress!!!

Beautiful!!  I think the natural waistline is SOOOO flattering!!  (mine has a natural waistline too!)  It truely does make you look/feel half your size (for me too!)

It's so exciting to imagine how everything will look now. The dress was the last piece of the puzzle. Well, I have no idea what FI is going to wear. lol

When I got my dress I was considered plus size now I am a size 12 which isn't so its alittle baggy on me especially my breasts.
