With 4 months left until our wedding (seriously, it still feels like we should have a year to go), we've been kicking it into high gear. My fiance is booking our honeymoon today at Secrets Maroma in Riviera Maya. We've both been stalking every internet review out there and are incredibly excited about our choice. 11 nights, swim-up room....it's going to be amazing.
Also, we settled on a cake. Back when we first started planning, my fiance said he wanted a cheesecake wedding cake (his favorite dessert). I wasn't too optmisitic that I'd find one, but I did. Last Friday, we drove out to Irwin to the Cheesecake Caffe. The owner/baker was seriously the nicest woman I have ever met, the cheesecake was amazing, and her prices were unbeatable. She's doing a three-tier cheesecake with a smooth frosting exterior so it looks like a traditional wedding cake. I'm so happy we were able to find something that we were happy with.
Next up - ordering invitations!
