  • What sort of theme do you have?

  • I only know of DIY type save the dates and invitations because that's what I plan on doing. But vista print has some cute save the dates. Shutterfly and the wedding chicks blog have some good save the date designs as well. The wedding chicks blog also has cute invitation suites or try the Brides line at Michael's. The only downside to the wedding chicks is that I haven't found an invitation design that I can customize exactly how I want it. The other site that I saw on wedding chicks was invitation parlour.com but I haven't gone through it much. Hope some of this helps.

  • I think I saw on vistaprint that they have wedding packages, where you can get a save the date, then matching invites with rsvp cards, envelopes, etc. It looked like they were running a special, but I didn't look that closely because I have my save the dates already.

  • We really liked minted.com but could NOT agree on anything. I searched Etsy for printable vintage wedding invitations and got thousands of hits. I've seen them range from $15 to $70. You pay for a customized pdf of the design and print them yourself. I've been looking through the results for days. I found a ton that I love, but I'm not sure he's going to like any of them.

Yes Vista print or snap fish has do it yourself...

Etsy has some super cute things you buy the templet and print it yourself.  Some are a little pricey some are only a few $$.  GL!

  • I've been looking at magnetstreet.com which is more on the expensive side and Etsy for invitation templates that you can print out yourself. I like the choices on Etsy better so far

  • I am using magnet street for my magnet save the dates and I thought they were pretty reasonably priced. Everything was customizable and it was more than half of the price of weddingpaperdivas.com.

  • I second etsy. There is a seller on there too who does save the date magnets. I think any design you choose they are 1.85 a piece, but you can use your own pictures. So I think that is who I am going to go through.

  • We got our save the dates from weddingpaperdivas.com. They came out great and the customer service was superb. However, we've changed our colors and they don't offer the matching invites in our new color scheme. Plus I feel like they were a bit on the expensive side. I found almost identical ones on etsy for half the price that I can customize to our colors, so that's where our invites will be coming from.

  • Our theme is peacocks. I'm looking for something elegant with purples and grey and maybe a feather. Or I might just stick an actual feather in invitation.

I'm not to much of a DIY person I'd rather have it done for me so I don't have to worry about it.

Vistaprint and Etsy both have tons of peacock designs - definitely check them out!  Just search for peacock or feather.

If you find one you like on Vistaprint, make sure you sign up for their e-mail notifications first.  They always send out amazing deals.

  • Belle, definitely look on Etsy!!

There are a TON of peacock themed invitations out there. Every invitation listing I've looked at on there allows for customizable colors, so you shouldn't have a problem getting them in purple & grey.

Also, if you're looking for feathers, these are the cheapest ones I've found in bulk:
