Is this something you'd maybe like input from your father on? He might have a song that reminds him of you.

I'm going to have my father/daught dance to "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder. My dad doesn't know this yet and I want it to be a surprise. It'll totally make him tear up.

CNF- I love "Isn't She Lovely", and we thought about it for our song (my dad and I.) I just feel like the beat is so bouncy, like it's not that slow. I feel like we will be like skipping-type temp on the dance floor. But the more I type this, I am picturing it and maybe it would work.....that is a beautiful song though.

My dad orginally wanted to do an Irish song called "Dance With Me Daughter Of Mine." It's a beautiful song, but is really long and we would have to cut it out. It is an Irish wedding song though, I think anyway. But a friend of the family danced to the same song, and now my dad is reconsidering. I think I am going to let me Dad pick the song though, wright maybe your dad would like to pick yours?

I'm currently planning on doing I Loved Her First by Heartland. I know my FI is not a big country fan, but the very first time I heard this song it made me cry ( a good cry though) and I just thought it would be the perfect father/daughter dance song.

I love Jack Johnson, and that's a great song!

My dad and I have issues. I'm thinking "Catch the Wind" by Donovan because we were listening to it on a trip to Tucson a while back. It was a rare, pleasant memory.

I think I might do lullabye by Billy Joel. My dad and I love him and have seen him 2-3 times. I listened to it thinking about using it for my father/daughter dance and cried so I think I might use it.

My dad likes mostly heavy metal....I am hoping he would not object to my suggestion lol. It just reminds me a lot of him when I heard it. 

I am also doing a dance with my step dad during the reception to "You've Got a Friend" by James Taylor.

This is the song I'm using as well. Since the first time she heard it, my mom has asked that I use it for my wedding. And that was before FI and I even met. I know I'll cry during this one.
