Well, hopefully! We haven't gone to check out the venue we've been looking at just yet, but we're hoping since that date is on a Monday, we should be free and clear!

June 17 was the date of our first date, and we'd both love it if we could get married 3 years to the day after that :-)

Congrats and welcome!!  Having a wedding on a non-trad day is a great way to save money!  Good luck with planning!

Wow, Monday!  That's not something you hear about everyday (no pun intended )

Not to burst your bubble, but make sure you touch base with those you really want to be there, I missed a Friday wedding because it was out of town, I had just started a new job and couldn't get the day off. 

Just a thought, welcome to the board and happy planning!

I love the idea of having it on your anniversary!  We were looking at the 27th which is a Thursday and our 9 year, but the church wasn't available.

I would proceed with caution when planning a Monday wedding. Have you talked to those you're close with (i.e. family) and gotten their perspective? I know that ultimately it's your wedding and your decision....but you still want those who are important to be there with you.
