Table Number Holders - Options and Ideas

Hi, Ladies!

I'm trying to figure out how I am going to put the table number cards on the reception tables. I need something to hold them up, but I've been quite shocked by some of the prices for typical wedding table number stands. What are all of you brides who are getting married soon (or recently got married) using? Did you find anything fairly cheap somewhere? Did you do a DIY project? I'd love to hear your ideas and suggestions!

Thanks!

I've seen quite a few people use these: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30151035?query=Tolsby
    and they're only 99cents each!

I just made mine using Tolsby frames - they're great because they stand on their own and they are 2 sided, so you can have the back have a picture, a menu, or just have your table number again.

We're going to use little glass bottles that have corks in the top similar to this (clicky), make a slice in the cork and stick a cardstock sign in the cork.  The bottles are only 99 cents each at Michaels (they have lots of different shapes too) and you can easily find coupons for 25% off your total purchase. We might also spray paint the bottles or make them colorful some other way.

I also used the Tolsby frames... and I spraypainted them using Krylon spraypaint.

I like the frames from Ikea.  We are using mini table easles for the table names that I DIY'd.  I found a set of 3 clear plastic easles for $1 at the dollar store.  Otherwise, at Michael's, they were around $3-$4/piece.

I'm using slices of tree stumps! Found some used ones on trash to treasure for cheap. We will be DYI'ing the actual # cards.

Very helpful suggestions. Thanks, everyone! I'm DIYing the actual cards with the numbers, and I hoped to have a more horizontal look rather than the vertical needed for the Tolsby frames, but you can't beat that price! Maybe I will check out my local dollar store to see if anything strikes me as useable... if not, I may go with a spray painted Tolsby frame.

    Thanks!

These were ours-DIY (recycled wine bottles). Not the best picture but hopefully you'll get the idea. I ordered the adhesive labels off of Etsy (they were customed designed). All the guests really liked the uniqueness. Good luck!

My mom and I searched thrift stores for vintage gold frames, and I made the numbers out of patterned Martha Stewart scrapbook paper from Michaels.  Its a bit time consuming to find all the frames, but they turned out beautiful!!
