Vendors Review Church- Our church was Linwood Heights United Methodist Church. Pastor Ethel Guy was more than helpful.
Hall – Lower Chichester Fire Department- The hall was chosen due to the history that we have in that building. The hall was decorated by us the day before and everything looked wonderful. Hall fits about 125 comfortable. Barbara Bean from the Ladies is awesome to work with.
Catering – LCFD Ladies Aux. The food was delish! They have different menus to choose from, very reasonable and delish. We had sausage scaloppini, baked ham, roasted chicken, baked ziti, oven roasted potatos, green beans, pasta salad, tossed salad.
Cake- The Master Bakers, West Chester- I loved their cakes when we went for our trial. The cake was delish. We had a 4 tier white with purple accent cake. Each tier had its’ own flavor. Mint Choco Chip, Marble, Raspberry lemonade, (I forgot). There wasn’t much cake left!! 1 detail that I didn’t like about the cake is that on the bottom layer there was a heart, a piece of candy or something that, that had “M.B.”. I’m only guessing that stood for Masters Baker. Now, I know that when items are donated its courtesy for the businesses to put something advertising themselves on it. I didn’t appreciate that on the cake because our initials are L. O. W. People were asking me what MB stood for. If they wanted to make their name known, they could have put a business card on the table next to it, so at MY discretion I could say where it came from.
Transportation- Dave’s Limo, PA/DE Border- We had reserved a 25 passenger shuttle bus to transport our wedding party from my house, church, pictures, and reception. They arrived at 1pm, right on time. When the driver arrived, he informed me that they upgraded my bus free of charge to a Limo Shuttle bus.
Flowers- Marcus Hook Florist. I liked all the flowers very much.
Photography- Ron Evans Photography. Ron came over at 9:30am the morning of and took tons of pictures throughout the entire day. We got a few sneak peeks THAT night before he went to bed. He showed up not feeling 100% but still gave us 110%. We have seen quite a few sneak peeks as we wait the 3-4 weeks for the entire disk.
Videography- Weddingbug.com was the company my Mom found. Videographer showed up to the church and reception. He paid close attention to details. He got all the key points of the wedding and also spoke with many of the guests recording their moments.
PhotoBooth- Extreme Photo- My reception started at 3:30, they showed up at 3:30 to set up their booth in the corner. They were setting themselves up during our introductions and our first dance together. They weren’t very informative to the guests that they are to sign the page of where their strip went. It was a woman and her 12 year old son running the booth. The boy spent more time getting food and beverage then assisting his mother(I assume).
