Live Band Recommendations?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a live band?  I saw recommended DJs on the vendor list, but not any bands.  We want a fun, energetic cover band.  A lot of the ones I've found have been older, or don't play any newer songs... and I've gotten price quotes that range from $500 - $6000.  We don't want a really terrible band, but we're still hoping to stay in the range of $1000 or less...  Any suggestions?

    1,000 or less seems low for a DJ to me, let alone a wedding band.  Experienced wedding bands in Pittsburgh are 3-5K+ I think.

    Check out the bands represented by Entertainment Unlimited. We booked our band, Airborne, through them. They have a wide variety of styles represented, though I don't know how it might match up with your budget.

    Majority Rules out of Ligionier.  We paid $800 (though we knew the drummer.) Wide variety, and anything they can't play they will DJ for you.  Everybody loved them.
