AW Wednesday!

Good morning, ladies!  My first AW Wednesday since becoming this board's moderator, woo!  

I need to AW out my e-pics that I got back yesterday.  I love them!  I can't share them all yet, but here is my favorite one (TK won't let me embed it right now!):

In other WR news, I got my DJ I wanted down to a comfortable price quote and I sent off a deposit for my photo booth, too!  I've still got almost a year but I've been having tons of WR-dreams...mostly where I'm in my dress but I still need hair and makeup and I'm already running late.  I dreamed on Sunday my venue was completely snow-covered, ugh!

NWR, I think I've found my signature cookie - Nutella-PB no bakes.  FI pretty much begs me to make them.  I made him some for his students since it's their last class of the semester and when he posted about it on FB last night they went nuts.  I love to bake, so this is awesome!

Congrats on the mod position!!! You will be wonderful at it.  It's kinda weird seeing the board now without all the controls.  also, congrats on the DJ/photobooth checks and on having the e-pics done.  you are on a roll!

Lets see...........call the caterer with our menu today.  Call the church today; set up an appointment to finalize the ceremony and organist.  Call the DJ to set-up an appointment to finalize our do not play and must play lists.  Electric Slide=no payment!  lol  Um lets see what else.........oh!  NWR Nail down the FI to make a decision about painting so I can schedule carpet installation and delay furniture delivery.  10 more days of work until I am off work for over 30 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your wedding video.  I showed my mom this weekend and she also loved it.  That reminds me to email her and check out what she can do for us!

@mdphd - LOVE your wedding video! The first part gave me goosebumps and the second part was so energetic and fun. Good choice on going with the videographer.

We booked our rehearsal dinner location: Lucca on South Craig Street. It's really close to Heinz Chapel, has a private space, and has great food. I'm also finalizing our invitation wording and guest addresses, and I just scheduled my first dress fitting for mid-June. 101 days to go, this is getting real!

2 BM's and I went to Succop Conservancy last night. I had already attended an open house w/my parents so we went back for a private tour.  The FI hasn't seen it but he fell in love w/the pics I sent him, quite understandably, it's gorgeous. I got the contract & she's saving our date for us. So happy to finally have something done!

I have not been sleeping well - at all-- since mid April. I am making myself sick, literally. I didn't think I was that stressed, but my body is telling me otherwise

One month from today! I feel like the last 6 weeks up until wedding day are definitely crunch time.

WR
-We met with our priest last night to go over the ceremony.
-I had my second dress fitting on Monday night, it fits well, it was just very sad because it didn't feel like everything was right without my mom there so it was pretty upsetting. I think I just wanted her reassurance
-We are finalizing our guest list for the rehearsal dinner, we have to get those invites out soon because we have the RSVP date on them as 5/15.
- My cousin is coming over today so we can hopefully figure out and get a good start on the Tolsby frame table numbers.

Oy!

MD - I love your video, it's beautiful!

Er - That picture is gorgeous, can't wait to see more!

Britt - Congrats on the RD location, we had a tough time with that one!

Kehrs - I have seen some beautiful pictures of Succop Conservatory - make sure to google wedding pictures!

mdphd, I got teary eyed during your video. It's beautiful!

Britt, we are at 115 days! I didn't realize our dates were so close. But its starting to feel all to real for me too. I'm scared it's going to sneak up on me and I'm going to forget to fine tune some things.

futurekehrs, sounds like you definitely need a mental health day! Take care of yourself! I know the feeling of not being able to sleep and it sucks. I hope you start to feel better soon!

This week, I bought the magnetic frames for the photo booth that we are using as favors/escort cards. I also bought some props off of etsy!

We also booked our limo this week and we made an appointment to get enagagment pics taken with our photographer in June. We hadnt planned on doing e-pics, but I thought it might help me feel more comfortable in front of the camera.

jmrupprecht - do you mind PMing me where you got some photo booth props at?  My photo booth comes with a box of props but I think it would be cute to add in some extras, like a chalkboard and chalk for people to write their own messages on.

linds - I think about you going through this without your mom a lot.  I'm so sorry.  I hope that all the support everyone else is providing makes that void a little less obvious in the coming months, and that no matter what, you enjoy your wedding.

I am so glad there's a board like this. You all have given me so many ideas! And to read about those of you who recently got married and those with the 100 day countdowns, it really is so exciting!

jmrupprecht  that sounds like a cute idea for the escort cards/favors! lol prior to getting engaged I didn't have a clue what an escort card was.

lindsay  I can imagine how upsetting that is be strong & like mdphd said I'm sure you have lots and lots of supportive people around you

Congrats on becoming the board mod!  

We are getting close to a year out, so I should probably start planning...  We need to get our STD's out in the next month or so.

As some of you know, I'm planning from Colorado, so any advice you have is great!

Hi Lindsfuss, we are using Maria Palermo for our e-session, most likely for our wedding as well. Her package is 2,000 + anything else you want to add on.
