Monday Accountability

Okay, Monday's here, hope everyone had a great weekend!  I tried on some summer clothes in my closet and I need to get my butt in gear for summer.  I started c25k Saturday and did horrible (I'm a bad runner in cold weather though).

  • Ugh I ate terrible this weekend! I definitely need to make up for it this week.

    B- Black coffee and oatmeal
    S- Apple
    L- Grilled Chicken Salad
    D- We are going to our rehearsal dinner venue tonight with the future in-laws for a tasting so whatever they have there.

    E- Running 3 miles during lunch and hopefully and fit in some weights tonight after the tasting.
  • B- hot chocolate, oatmeal with strawberries
    L- vegetarian chili
    S- apple
    D- leftover rice and veggie stir fry
    S- cheez its

    E- none too much going on this afternoon

  • B:  egg + egg white, oat bran toast with raspberry preserves, 1 oz turkey

    would love to do my cardio outside but my allergies are so out of control!  so an indoor workout it is.

    E- Today is really hectic so I only have time for a quick workout.  I found this 54321 workout on pinterest and I'm trying to post it was an image but it won't let me.  Sorry about the crappy formatting....

    5 minutes: Cardio

    ·      You can do anything: walk, run, jump rope, elliptical,

    ·      If you’re at home

    o  1 min high knees

    o  1 min jumping jacks

    o  1 min front kicks

    o  1 min jumping jacks

    o  1 min run in place

    4 minutes:

    ·      1 minute walking lunges (or alternating regular lunges)

    ·      1 minute mountain climbers

    ·      repeat for 4 minutes

    3 minutes:

    ·      10 pushups / rest

    ·      15 triceps dips / rest

    ·      repeat for 3 minutes

    2 minutes:

    ·      30 seconds regular squats

    ·      30 seconds jump squats

    ·      30 seconds regular squats

    ·      30 seconds jump squats

    1 minute

    ·      plank

    After a week of horrible runs, and then completely falling apart on my run on Saturday, I'm taking a week off of hard exercise and focusing on yoga and stretching.

  • I didn't eat great yesterday, but I ran 8 miles on Saturday, so I'm giving myself a pass.

  • Well, I'm back on the wagon today after a weekend of not eating too well. To be fair, It really was just two meals that weren't good (went out for fondue on Friday night, and made wings on Saturday night), but I still feel like I over-did it.

    B: Coffee with cream & sugar
    L: Blueberry peach smoothie
    D: Burger with bacon onion balsamic jam (from Pinterest, it's delicious!)
    S: If I have a snack, it will either be an apple or popcorn

    Exercise: Ab RIpper X
