Thursday accountability

    E:  none; H and I are singing in a benefit concert tonight and tomorrow so it'll be super rushed to get to soundcheck on time.

  • Liv - I have a "salad" recipe that might be legal for you.  we love it, thought I'd share...  it's "Paleo" friendly.  I am not sure if it fits your ketosis diet, but it MIGHT!  :)

    2 crowns broccoli, chopped into florets
    1/2 small red onion, diced fine
    8 pieces of bacon (save the renderings)
    1/2 c. dried cranberries, raisins, cherries, whatever
    1 sm apple (like Gala or Pink Lady)
    1 shallot, diced fine
    1 TBSP apple cider vinegar
    1 tsp dijon mustard
    salt and pepper

    cook the bacon, remove and save the fat. 

    mix together broccoli florets, onion, apple, dried fruit, and chopped bacon. 

    add the shallots to the renderings and cook for 2-3 minutes.  remove from heat and add apple cider vinegar, dijon mustard, salt and pepper. 

    toss "dressing" over the salad well.

  • I am thinking of doing a cleanse Sunday-Tuesday. Anyone interested in joining? 
    All you need is a blender and some groceries.
