Puppies in the workplace / Photo Thursday

I work at a trucking company. I'm a receptionist actually out in the mechanics shop, where my dad is lead mechanic. It's a dog friendly company, which I love, but I'm always sad when I don't get to bring Ein or Jack to work. Jack lives with my dad now because he has a lot of anxiety, and is very attached to my dads German Shepherd, so my dad graciously took him.

Well, my dad JUST moved to be the on-site mechanic, and they furnished him a place to live here, which means during the work day, I get this handsome mug staring at me:

BF and I bought a blow gun (with some SERIOUSLY sharp darts) and were shooting it through the shower curtain (we're buying a new one this weekend)

Aaaannndddd I entered my mom and I into a 'Mommy and Me' lookalike contest for the local paper, so I thought I'd share my mug on the internets.

GIMME YO PICHAS.

[QUOTE]Oh, that's so sad! :(. We also have a fox hanging around somewhere, but he only comes out every once in a while. Peter Funny Bunny particularly likes the grass in front of my building. And I think he's pretty cute, too. His name is Maybee (named after the Arrested Development character when we thought he was a she.), and I took that picture on his half birthday last week. He's six months old, and a kitten terror. Side note... Where exactly does one buy a blow gun?

</div><div>I bought it at a gun show I went to a few weeks ago. I couldn't afford the revolver I wanted for my concealed carry so BF spent 10 bucks on a blow gun. They are scary accurate and the darts can easily pierce all the way through my full shampoo bottle (I tried it :/) It's a ton of fun, though!</div>

  • My parents' dog Roxy thought the baby bunnies in our yard were toys.  She killed two of them.  I cried.

I put this together a few weeks ago.  It's my favorite part of the apartment because I put it together with my bare hands!

I bake bread now.  It's yummy!  I used to burn soup, so I've come a long way...

Here's a picture of my liquor cabinet. That's all I got for today. I will be drinking something from this tonight.

  • buddy - Try that pinnacle whipped with either some pineapple juice (pineapple upside down cake) or some root beer. They are both incredible. The Pineapple upside down cake is more of a shot, and the root beer a drink. I'm jealous of your liqour cabinet.

Boston- Yay! Your parents GSD is adorable. My dads is an awesome dog. Her and Jack are BFF's. Also, that's a good looking entertainment system. I love furniture, and it looks great! I also want to start baking bread ;-; I just never seem to have time.

I'm hardcore I drink it out of the bottle. Or I mix it with orange soda if it's around. Mostly straight out of the bottle though. I love vodka.

<div>AMAZING. She's such a doll. Zo - No, there is not. Except for puppies. Eins' ears flop every time he runs, and his 'jump' is his legs just going horizontally. He's not go ups. I bet Margot and Ein would be lovely friends.

Aud - I remember reading about some people 'unliking' the page because of that. It makes me so, so angry and sad. Hopefully by the time we all have grandchildren some of that hate and judgement will have dissipated. We can only hope. But I'm so glad that you've gotten to be (or are working on) being friends with her! It's always lovely to make new, quality friends :)

  • I'm late.

    Puppy:

My brother and I were born five years apart, but we look so much alike that we tell people we're fraternal twins and no one ever doubts it. I actually convinced one of FI's stoner friends that we were fraternal twins born five years apart, as in my mom gave birth to my brother and then I chilled in her womb for half a decade. I told him we had our own special on TLC. He bought it hook, line and sinker.

    Baby pictures:

Me on the left, my brother (the original Naked Cowboy, apparently) on the right.

Cute picture of FI and myself because I can:

Those aren't camera angles. He's eight inches taller than me. This is from our trip to NYC on our first dating anniversary. He surprised me with a helicopter tour of the city on our actual anniversary. He also learned how I ruin all surprises because once I know there is going to BE a surprise, I have to know WHAT the surprise is. And I will NAG.
