FI and I are trying to figure out transportation for our bridal party and us. We have six girls and six guys in our bridal party. All six guys will be at a hotel a half hour from the ceremony the night before the wedding, as will FI. All six girls will be in my neighborhood a half hour in the other direction the night before, plus me and my parents.
I'd like to have a limo leave from my house for the girls and a limo to leave from the hotel for the guys. I'd also like to have a car for my parents and I. After the ceremony, my parents could go in the limo with the girls (including my sister) to the reception and FI and I could go in the car. I don't really want my bridal party to have to drive (parking is a pain and I could see it as a source of drama) and as far as I know everyone is spending the night at a hotel (so I know I'd have to arrange rides for them to go home the next day).
FI and I will have our car at the hotel the night before and I'm thinking about switching with my sister so we have a seven seater we can bring people home in. Based on who is going home with significant others, we should have plenty of room for everyone and baggage (and we could take bagage for people if they wanted the night before).
Here's the real question. The ceremony is at 11:30am. Our groomsmen are going to be ushers. What time should we get the limos to drop everyone off at the church? How is/did everyone handle(ing) this? Is there anything I'm missing here? I'm probably overthinking but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.
