Need true ivory mens dress shirts, help!

My groom and groomsmen are wearing suits for our wedding and I would like to find a true ivory dress shirt but keep finding these buttery yellow shirts instead. I have looked at Macys, Nordstrom, Jos Banks and Brooks Brothers and can't find what I am looking for. Any one out there able to find a mens dress shirt that is off white without being yellow?

Thanks!!!!

Sarah

    I think that's your answer.

Why do the shirts need to be Ivory?

White dress shirts for men are traditional and appropriate. Off white isn't easily found for a reason...
  • Just let them wear white. If it is b/c your dress is ivory, I promise you won't tell the difference.

  • My sister got married last year and her dress was a very similar shade of off white to mine. The guys in her wedding wore white shirts and it made her dress look dingy in all of the pictures. I am trying to avoid the same issue.
  • Amazon.com

My FI wanted an ivory shirt with french cuffs (he loves cuff links!) for my sister's wedding, and we searched the stores for hours. Finally ended up ordering one from amazon. Right size, right color, easy.

I would LOVE to see a picture.  Seriously.  I have never see any woman's ivory wedding dress look dingy against men wearing white dress shirts.  Women's ivory dresses and men's ivory dress shirts are not the same color.  Woman's ivory dressses are more of a softer white, not paper white.  It complements most skin tones better.  Ivory dress shirts have yellowish tones.  If you put a man in an ivory dress shirt, THAT will look dingy.

Keep the men in classic white shirts.
  • I,too, would love to see the picture. My husband wore a white shirt, and I don't think my ivory dress looks the slightest bit dingy.
